About the award

The Miller Family Award for Two-Year Accounting Teaching Excellence recognizes outstanding accounting educators teaching at two-year colleges in the United States.

Established by Dr. Tracie Miller, CPA in honor of her parents, Kipp and Sylvia Miller, to recognize outstanding educators and celebrate a lifelong commitment to community and service, this award supports excellence in teaching and meaningful engagement in the two-year accounting educator community.

Recipients receive $5,000 to support attendance and presentation at the designated TACTYC conference — covering conference registration, travel, and lodging. The award is funded by Tracie Miller through a permanent endowment held and managed by AcctoFi, with support from TXCPA.
